I'm Aya, currently living by myself in a city close to Amsterdam, but trying to find a place with one of my closest friends. He's a guy, I'm a girl, but I'm not too concerned - the fact that he's the best shopping buddy I know should say enough. I love my little brother who has gone from the '[censor]! I [censor] HATE MY [censor] SISTER!' fase to the 'Wanna go out? Drinks on me!' fase, I love all my shoes (especially my pumps, because I'm 5'3.), I love horseback riding, writing, drawing, laughing either with or at friends (or myself, I'm a total spaz) and naturally, all the other stuff you do with friends. Obviously. Solitude is all well and good once in a while, but let's face it; without friends, who sit by your side when you have swine flu, protect you like a little sister, study together with you and make you laugh even when you're in the state of mind where you think every friggin' hobo with polio is better off than you, life's a big yawnfest. Most of my very random thoughts get verbalized, I'm in love with Asia, I'm chinese, portugese and dutch, I follow an education at the International Business School in Amsterdam where I not only learn everything joyful there is to know about marketing, management, business, economics, international law and so forth, but I also learn Japanese. When I mention my love for Asia, their cultures, philosophies, religions, streetstyles and also my sole purpose in life to get enough money to buy all of the Jesus Diamante stores in Japan, people either go 'cool!' or 'JESUS CHRIST, WHY?!' - most go with the 'why' thing. But since elementary school, where most people thought I was totally off for saying I wanted to live in Japan, I decided I shan't be bothered by what most people think. Especially since, well, all of those people probably will end up cleaning gutters for a living - I didn't go to elementary with the brightest bulbs. Oh, and Gossip Girl is my favorite show ever. Sorry, every K-drama, C-drama and J-drama I've watched - nothing can beat Chuck Bass, Blair Waldorf, Blairs minions, Serena van der Woodsen, the little all of a sudden trampy one with the blonde hair who should be stomped by Blair (what was it... Jenny?) and so on. It has taught me many valueable life lessons, like... don't wear fishnets to a ten thousand dollar a year private school. It's not a guilty pleasure show at ALL. | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||||||||||||||||
